What Er22 Means
Er22 is an input-key error — the touch controller is picking up an invalid or stuck signal from one specific key, as though that button were being held down continuously.
Common Causes of Er22
- Moisture or a grease film sitting over one specific touch key
- A section of the touch membrane that's physically damaged or degraded
- Something resting on the control panel during use

Clean around the affected key to remove any moisture, grease, or food residue that could be making it register as stuck, then cycle power at the breaker.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Clean around the panel without disconnecting power first and you're working near live touch-control circuitry.
- It can be mistaken for a full touch-controller failure, leading to a wrong, more expensive replacement.
- Prying at a damaged patch of the touch membrane risks tearing it worse, turning a simple cleaning fix into a full panel swap.
- Opening the control panel breaks the sealant bead the glass sits on, and it only seals properly once, so spills afterwards run straight down onto the electronics.
