The RF201ACUSX1 is the full-feature 36″ French door machine, and it is the configuration where filter maintenance matters most. Water passes through the filter for both the dispenser and the ice maker, so a filter that is overdue shows up twice — slower water at the door and smaller, slower-forming ice — and owners often report the two as if they were separate problems.
