What A10 Means
A10 belongs to F&P's DW60 front-control dishwashers rather than the DishDrawer line. It is the water supply alert: the machine called for a fill and the water did not arrive. The service manual lists the tap, a blocked inlet valve filter, the flow meter harness, low pressure, a kinked fill hose and the inlet valve coil as the things to work through.
Common Causes of A10
- The supply tap left partly or fully closed
- A blocked filter screen in the inlet valve
- A kinked fill hose, or household pressure too low to fill in time
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Start with the tap behind or under the cabinet and make sure it is fully open, then follow the fill hose and straighten any kink. Between them those two account for a good share of A10 alerts and neither needs a technician.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Close the supply tap before the inlet hose is unscrewed for any reason, or the connection will empty itself across the floor.
- Cleaning an inlet filter screen sounds simple until the screen tears, at which point debris passes straight into the valve seat.
- Low household pressure and a failing inlet valve produce the same alert, and telling them apart takes a measured flow check rather than a guess.
- The inlet valve is a live part on a plumbed joint, so it needs both the water off and the machine off supply before it is disturbed.
