Fisher & Paykel DG27CW1 Repair & Common Issues

The DG27CW1 is the gas AeroSmart, sharing its sensing logic and cabinet with the electric DE27CW1 and differing only in how the heat is made. Fisher & Paykel documented the pair together, which is a useful thing to know when hunting information about a machine this old: material written for the electric model covers almost everything on the gas one apart from the burner assembly itself.

FAQ

Fisher & Paykel DG27CW1 FAQ

For the controls, cycles and sensing, yes, since Fisher & Paykel documented them together. For anything involving the burner or the gas valve, no.

With the gas shut off at the appliance valve, the igniter and flame-sensing circuit are checked first, then the gas valve coils.
